Our client needed to establish their new business branding targeting conscious consumers in Tier 1 cities in China and the world.
We were tasked with developing the brand identity for BUZHITAO, aiming to romanticize the concept of clean consumption.
Borrowing inspirations from Taoism, we need to craft a brand identity that resonates with the aesthetic preferences of both the East and West.
Goal
We did some intense market research, refined their brand name, and created new branding to truly showcase their identity.
Armed with insights, we meticulously refined their brand appropriate for international audience since consumers in Tier 1 cities are typically bilingual and heavily influenced by Western media and product.
For authenticity and resonance. we embarked on a creative journey, crafting a fresh visual identity that truly showcases their unique essence with romantic typography. This integrated approach, blending refined messaging and a captivating visual aesthetic, empowers our client to confidently communicate their values and engage their audience in a meaningful way.
Result
New brand identity that is appropriate for all product categories.
First we renamed Buzhidao to Buzhitao which follows the Western way of spelling Taoism and also separates the brand from the traditional spelling of Unknown in Chinese.
We also created a series of marketing collaterals such as posters, stationary designs and product stickers and art direction briefs to pair with the logo for the launch of the brand and its products.
